Intermediate Course (Course 2)

Once you are confident with the content of the beginners (1a) and social dancing (1b) courses, and have danced for a few months then you can do this course.

The Next Intermediate Course (course 2)

Sept 20 and 21, 27 and 28
Oct 11 and 12, 18 and 19

All times are 2-5, Centre at St Pauls, in the upstairs hall

The Intermediate Course covers:
  • improved embrace and posture(including an introduction to dancing in close embrace)
  • improved connection with your partner
  • music interpretation and rhythm (simple rhythmical dancing variations)
  • contra time movements
  • more pivots
  • giro (turn)
  • circular barridas1
  • sacadas1
  • circular ganchos1
  • combining movements 2
  • classic short choreographies/sequences (lots)
  • better navigation!
